Telling a wedding story through still or motion images is something Marcus has been doing for many years. What started out as the obnoxious kid behind the family camcorder, quickly moved to the college student editing wedding slideshow montages in iMovie, and has now blossomed into a full professional photo/video production team to capture the entire day. Weddings naturally have a well-known storyline but the beauty of Marcus' work is that each couple and wedding event is unique and the art of telling that one-of-a-kind story is what Marcus takes pride in doing so well. While YouTube and Instagram have made video and photos widely available and shareable by the masses, high-quality story telling and artistic imagery are still hard to find.

What is a highlights video?
A highlights video is the 4-6 minute video that you usually see shared online. This video features the most memorable moments of your wedding day overlaid with music and sound clips of relevant dialogue. This video artistically tells the story of the whole wedding day and shares the best memories with those who were and were not there for your big day. WHAT IS An extended highlights VIDEO?
Some couples love to re-live their wedding day in a longer video format in addition to the highlights video. An extended highlights video is a longer look at some of the other notable moments that happened during the day (i.e. the warm embrace of a parent seeing their daughter in her wedding dress for the first time or the sweet ring bearer and flower girl unabashedly skipping their way down the aisle) that would not have made it into the shorter highlights video. This video is anywhere between 15-20 minutes long and will include moments that the couple and videographer discuss before the wedding day-- along with any spontaneous sweet moments that just have to be re-lived over and over again. What is a ceremony and speeches video?
The full ceremony and full speeches videos is essentially the full length capture of each event with high quality audio. For the ceremony, the audio will come from the officiant and the groom, while for the speeches the audio will be recorded straight from the DJ's soundboard. This is requested by couples who would like to have these special moments captured and re-watchable for years to come. WHAT ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE THAT HAPPENS?
Unlike other wedding video/photo teams out there, we believe that you should have every moment to remember. We are proud to offer the raw footage to all our couples regardless of which package you choose. In other words, whatever we capture on your wedding day (video and audio) is for you to have forever and you are free to use it however you'd like. We just ask that you supply us with an external hard drive so that we can transfer all the data to you. what kind of equipment do WE use?
Our main camera is a professional Canon Cinema EOS C70 with all of the best lenses. We also use a host of stabilization equipment and accessories, as well as professional audio equipment in order to fully capture the entire wedding day. Can YOU pick Your own song?
All of the songs we use in our videos are royalty-free and appropriately licensed (price included in the package). For this reason, we reserve the right to choose the song that is used in your highlights video. However, if you would like to give input (i.e. genre, tempo, mood, lyrics, etc) we are more than open to hearing that during our pre-wedding planning time. Ultimately, we want you to be happy with the finished product and that most definitely includes the style/feel of the music. What about adding videos a la carte?

PHOTOhow much do WE charge?
What is our style of photography?
Our style is more of a journalistic style than a formal/traditional style. We aim to capture images that not only showcase the important details of the beautiful day but also capture the raw emotions. This style is much closer to visual storytelling than simply capturing yearbook portraits. Why aren't Engagement Shoots included?
Not all couples want to have an engagement shoot so that's why we don't automatically factor that into the cost of our first two packages. If you would like to add an engagement shoot to either the Essentials or Premium package it is an added $300 for a 1-hour session (without a package engagement shoots are much more). what is an engagement photoshoot?
This is a 1-hour photoshoot at a mutually agreeable location that captures the couple in a romantic setting. The resulting images (up to 100) are not only great keepsakes of your engagement and memories for this point in time, but are also really useful for wedding day displays, announcements, invitations, programs, thank you cards, etc. The date/time/location for Engagement Photoshoots will be coordinated between the photographer and clients and typically happen on a Saturday during the morning or evening (the afternoon is a less desirable time given that the lighting is much more harsh). what do YOU actually get after the wedding?
All images are captured digitally on professional DSLR cameras. You will receive up to 800 or 1000 (depending on the package) full-resolution JPEG images. This means that every single image will be touched up and processed to make sure the final result looks the best that it can. It also means that you will get the highest resolution file possible- which makes sharing with family/friends a breeze and if you decide to make your own prints then you can since the files will be in its full resolution (no annoying watermarks or pixelated photos!) Please note that there are no physical prints of images that you will receive. when will YOU get YOUR FINAL IMAGES by?
Final images are processed/edited as quickly as possible and the usual turnaround time is around 5 weeks. However, it is our pleasure to get you your valuable images as soon as possible and we will do our best to get you the images before then. What kind of equipment do WE use?
Our main camera is a professional Canon EOS R5 and our backup camera is the 5D Mark III DSLR. We shoot with Canon L-series lenses that offer the crispest and sharpest image. If you don't know much about cameras, just know that all our gear (cameras, lenses, and flashes) will capture you in all your beauty! wHAT about ADDing services A LA CARTE?
